After a night in Muskegon, MI (probably not a place I feel compelled to return to), we shortened our return to Milwaukee on the VERY cool Lake Express. Choice A: drive several hours around the south end of the lake through Gary, IN and Chicago. Choice B: take the fast ferry directly across the lake – 73 miles in 2.5 hours. I choose wind and water! Delivered Marsha to the airport and began the trek to West Virginia.
