For those who wonder if I’m getting any actual work done…today I sent emails, had an hour-long phone meeting, printed documents, read an article, and organized a half-dozen piles of records into a file box. This will be the norm for awhile – for me at least, a huge part of putting a book together involves compiling what I already have as well as expanding my knowledge base. It seems like a huge luxury to think about just reading a book (even if it’s one of the titles below)! This is a great place to work on that process – I’m spending a lot of time on the sunporch, and have a comfy living/working space downstairs that is 98% perfect (remember the crickets).
