I took a break this afternoon and had a late lunch in Harpers Ferry. This historic village sits at the confluence of the Shenandoah and Potomac rivers. It was the site of an uprising that helped launch the Civil War. It’s the midway point on the Appalachian Trail. And it’s literally 10 minutes from Carolyn’s house! And who knew Lewis and Clark had dealings in this neck of the woods?

Just two entries? Okay. Do you’ll need to add the state because some of us don’t know where Harpers Ferry is located. I thought you were in the Midwest, but now I think you’re heading east and I don’t know where Carolyn lives.
