So. Today marks the end of what might be called “Sabbatical: Part 1.” The sight of the Rockies rising over a hazy Denver is welcome, but also a bit melancholy. I’ve crossed or dipped into 20 states this fall, and along the way have explored big cities, college campuses, tiny towns, and remote rural areas. The variety of landscapes and lifestyles I’ve experienced leaves me with sensory overload as well as a deep appreciation of America’s cultural capacity. (If its not National Alliteration Day, it should be.) I launched this blog with the quote “I am in love with this world….” Ditto about this country!
