Although I wasn’t actually observing Singles Awareness Day (with the unfortunate acronym SAD), it turned out to be a pretty perfect day. (1) My B&B breakfast was fresh, gorgeous, and drenched in Christmas chile. (2) I visited Ghost Ranch and took the Georgia O’Keeffe landscape tour. (3) The nearby Abiquiu Inn served up a gourmet dinner for half price (since I couldn’t use the 2-for-1 Valentine’s special).

It was far more extensive than I expected. Wish her Abiquiu home was open, but it’s too early in the season.
